Zhong Zhihua, Director of Chongqing Science and Technology Commission, academician of China Academy of Engineering and the famous vehicle engineering expert, visited CCMG, On 9 September, 2011. He was accompanied by the Director of CCMG Prof. Pan Fusheng, Vice-Chancellor of Chongqing University Prof. Liu Qing, Director of Science and Technology Department of Chongqing University Prof. Yu Honglin and Deputy Director of CCMG Prof. Zhang Dingfei, etc..
    Director Zhong Zhihua visited the products exhibition room of CCMG, and listened attentively to the progress report of magnesium alloy materials and processing technology, development and application of magnesium alloy products and industrialization of magnesium alloy made by Director Pan Fu-sheng. He confirmed the achievements of CCMG in the field of magnesium alloy materials. Director Zhong Zhihua pointed out that magnesium alloy had good prospects in transport sector and great significances in the light weight of cars and rail vehicles. He hoped that CCMG can seize the opportunity to co-ordinate innovation and overcome key technical problems restricting the development of the magnesium industry to promote the large-scale engineering applications of magnesium and magnesium alloy material. Director Zhong Zhihua proposed some advices on R & D work.
