Director of Minerals and Metals Sector of Natural Resources Canada Dr. Jennifer Jackman and his party visited CCMG of Chongqing University, in the afternoon of June 8, 2010.
    During the visit, Director of CCMG Pan Fusheng, Deputy Director Zhang Dingfei and Deputy Director Long Siyuan met with visiting guests. At the forum, Ph.D. Jennifer Jackman introduced the material magnesium alloy materials and technology of Minerals and Metals Sector, and pointed out that the Canadian auto industry paid great attention to the promotion and application of the magnesium alloy material for weight loss, energy conservation. Deputy Director Zhang Dingfei and Deputy Director Long Siyuan introduced the institutions, scientific research, technology development, international cooperation and industrialization of CCMG to guests. After the meeting, the guests accompanied by Deputy Director Zhang Dingfei visited the product exhibition room of CCMG.
    The visit increased the Canadian guests’ understanding of CCMG, which accelerated the establishment of international cooperation by two sides.br>
